 Training Workshop Conducted for RAPs at Purulia, West Bengal

One-day training cum workshop was organised by CSC SPV with the collaboration of Bajaj Allianz General Insurance on Insurance and Pension services of CSC here on December 22 at Purulia district of West Bengal.

During workshop Sumit Satyam from Bajaj Allianz provided necessary training to the 65 RAPs present during the programme. During workshop necessary training on Insurance, Pension, Khata Insurance, PAN, IRCTC, Digipay was given to VLEs.


 Kerala VLEs Helps Differently-abled 19-year-old Boy Get Digitally Literate

CSC VLE Anil Narayan proved to a boon for 19-year-old boy Vineeth, who is a differently-abled, get computer literate. Anil trained computer skills Vineeth at his CSC centre situated in Thrithala Panchayat in Thrissur district of Kerala. VLE Anil Narayanan supported this boy in all aspects to complete the course, and successfully qualify the examination under PMGDISHA.

Woman VLE Kanala Sujatha has helped a 70-year-old lady withdraw her old-age pension through Digipay in Woollapalem village of Paraksam district of Andhra Pradesh.


 Two Sanitary Napkin Units set up in Mathura and Maharajganj in Uttar Pradesh

Under CSC’s project ‘Swabhimaan’ to ensure easy access to affordable, reliable and modern menstrual pads to improve menstrual health of women in rural India, two Sanitary Napkin manufacturing units have been set in Mathura and Maharajganj districts of Uttar Pradesh.

Notably, Village Level Entrepreneur Devendra has set up a Sanitary Napkin manufacturing unit at his CSC Centre in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, where 7 women workers have been deployed for manufacturing work.

In the same way, another Sanitary Napkin manufacturing unit is being set up by ‘Maharajganj Gram Star Udyami Social Welfare Society’, which is run by VLEs in Maharajganj district of Uttar Pradesh. At unit 7 women workers are employed for manufacturing work.

Importantly, the project ‘Swabhimaan’ of CSC SPV is aimed at improving menstrual health of women in rural areas where access to sanitary products is still a distant dream.
