Wi-Fi Choupal has crossed 20,000 subscribers who are using the Internet facility in rural areas where connectivity is a major concern. The initiative of CSC SPV for installing Wi-Fi in different locations of rural India is setting a benchmark by breaking a barrier of 20,000 subscribers in a very short duration of time. It is epitome of success and we hope to cross many more milestones in days to come.


 PAN card mela in Kolegal, Chamaraj Nagar, Karnataka

VLE Sridhar from Kollegal, Chamaraj Nagar in Karnataka organized a PAN Card mela. 423 citizens participated in the camp and 270 got registered for PAN card. Mela is still on since the last four days.


 Manipur VLE working hard for skill development

WAHENGBAM RORRKYCHAND SINGH, a VLE of Kumbi Mayai Leikai under Bishnupur district is taking pivotal role in imparting skill training to the youths of the state of Manipur.

Since the year 2016, the CSC has been conducting skill development courses under the Pradhan Mantri Kausal Vikash Yojana (PMKVY) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and National Skill Development Corporation.

Under the name and title of Human Skill Empowerment Centre, Manipur, Rorrkychand has established a Skill Development Training Centre in the state capital. Currently he is conducting PMKVY Level 4 courses under Field Technician - Computing and Peripherals for class XII passed unskilled youths of Manipur.

His efforts to make the country a skilled nation is appreciated and serves as an encouragement to other CSCs in the State.
