 More than 850 MH VLEs targeted through six district-level workshops on CSC services

More than 850 VLEs have attended six district-level workshops conducted throughout Maharashtra during March 15-21, 2016 on various CSC services like Insurance, Apna Dhan, Aadhaar G2C services, etc.

The district workshop, conducted in Aurangabad on March 15, was attended by 250 VLEs. The workshop was attended by the District Collector, who also launched the second District VLE Society in the State on the occasion. The VLEs were trained on all the services offered through Apna CSC portal.

On March 16, district workshop was conducted in Nasik and Bhandara respectively. As many as 150 VLEs attended the Nasik workshop while 100 VLEs attended Bhandara session. In Nasik, HDFC Life authorities also provided training on HDFC products and responded to queries of the VLEs. In Bhandara, registration on Apna Dhan was also carried out on the sidelines of the workshop.

On March 17, workshops were conducted at Gondia and Ahmednagar district. Ninety VLEs attended the workshop at Gondia, while 240 VLEs attended the Ahmednagar workshop.
On March 21, a workshop was conducted at Nandurbar, where 60 VLEs attended the session. Around 20 Apna Dhan registrations were also carried out during the event.

 CSC 2.0 Scheme workshops held in Dumka and Deoghar districts, Jharkhand

Two-day district-level workshops on CSC 2.0 Scheme were conducted in Dumka and Deoghar district of Jharkhand during March 14-18, 2016. The workshops were attended by Deputy Commissioners, District Information Officers, BDOs, COs, eDMs, apart from 369 VLEs.

In Dumka, the workshop was held during March 14-16 and attended by 182 VLEs. The workshop was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Shri Rahul Kumar Sinha. In Deoghar, the workshop was held during March 16-18 and attended by 187 VLEs. The workshop was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Smt. Meena Thakur.

Inaugurating the workshops, the Deputy Commissioners emphasized on the goal of Digital India initiative and informed the VLEs about various e-governance services and the CSC scheme.  They also directed all the VLEs to shift to Panchayat premises as it will get connectivity under BharatNet project.

At both the workshops, CSC SPV representatives gave a brief introduction on CSC ecosystem, CSC 2.0 Scheme and various services including Service Plus, Financial Inclusion, Education, UID, Apna Dhan, Pan through NSDL, Passport, Telemedicine, Cyber Gram Yojana, etc. The e-District Managers – Mr. Amardeep Hansda and Mr. Ravish Kumar Gupta – gave brief presentations on Service Plus (e-Nagrik and RTGSA).  Question & Answer sessions were also conducted to solve the queries of VLEs.
The workshop was jointly organized by CSC SPV, SKIPA, JAPIT and DeGS Dumka and Deoghar.
