 CSC Champion organizes district level workshop in Punjab

CSC champion Mr. Omeshwar Sharma organized a workshops to educate the VLEs of the Mehtiana district in Punjab. Panchayat members of 2 villages along with 11 VLEs were present at the workshop. During the workshop VLEs were informed about the various services on APNA portal.

 IRDA license and IRIS scanner distributed to RAPs in Jharkhand

Ranchi: In an event organized in JAPIT - Ranchi, CSC SPV representative handed over the IRDA license and IRIS scanners to the VLEs who had qualified the RAP exam. In Jharkhand more than 495 VLEs had registered for RAP exam, out of which 34 VLEs were issued IRDA license and IRIS device after having completed the training. These devices would further be used for delivering e-KYC insurance and other services.

 First RuPay ATM card issued by Bank of Baroda in Maharashtra

Maharashtra became the first state to issue RuPay debit card to the citizens having opened their account under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana. As per the PMJDY all the account holders shall be given the RuPay debit card. This first RuPay card in Maharashtra was issued from the Nasik Shalimar branch of Bank of Baroda.

VLE Mrs. Surekha R. Vishe has opened more than 3,400 bank accounts under Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana of which more than 1,000 RuPay debit cards have been received by the bank branch, which shall be distributed to the respective account holders in due course of time.

 UID camp organized in 3 districts of Maharashtra

CSC-SPV organized UID enrollment camps at 3 locations- Chandrapur, Wardha & Nagpur districts of Maharashtra. The enrollment camp in Chandrapur was conducted in association with the PF Office. The Wardha & Nagpur camps were organized in partnership with CCI Maharashtra (Child Care Institutions).

A healthy participation was seen at the Chandrapur camp with 417 enrollments done. More than 97 enrollments were done in Wardha & Nagpur camps.
