Anganwadi, ASHA and FPS training through CSCs has begun under NDLM. All VLEs can start registrations under their jurisdiction and train beneficiaries under the NDLM.
VLEs functional in all the districts/blocks of States/UTs can now register and train Anganwadi, ASHA workers and Fair Price Shop owners in their respective areas across the country.
Over 7400 VLEs till now have expressed their interest to train these grassroots workers under the Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (DISHA). VLE will be paid Rs 500 per person trained

NDLM district-level workshop held for Unnao VLEs
A district-level training programme was held in Unnao in Uttar Pradesh on February 23, 2015, for 40 VLEs who are participating in the National Digital Literacy Mission. The workshop provided training to the VLES on various aspects of the training process like household survey, registration and training of beneficiaries on the LMS and registration of ASHA/anganwadi workers. District Magistrate, Unnao, Smt. Soumya Agarwal, eDistrict Manager, Unnao, Shri Brijesh Singh, SAHAJ representative Shri Survesh Gupta and members of NDLM PMU were present at the programme.
