Workshop for VLEs from North-East conducted in Assam

A training workshop under the National Digital Literacy Mission was conducted for the VLEs of north eastern states of Meghalaya, Nagaland, Assam, Manipur and Sikkim during February 9-10, 2015. A total of 45 VLEs and officials from State Implementing Agency AMTRON, training partners Zoom and Sahaj attended the workshop at Guwahati.

The NDLM PMU state representative welcomed those present at the workshop and gave a brief on the NDLM project, while discussing the specific roles of SIA’s, Training Partners and VLEs.

All the VLEs were instructed to register a minimum of ten Anganwadi, ASHA workers or FPS owners from their respective areas within two working days and complete the training session by February 17, as per the government mandate for making all Anganwadi, ASHA workers and FPS owners digitally literate.

Training was also provided to the VLEs regarding the registration and login process for NDLM, and audio visual course content and the off-line training process.
