  All Common Services Centers to have common branding under CSC 2.0

The Department of Electronics and Information Technology has approved common branding for all CSCs.


As per the approved design, a 6 x 3 ft. (width x height) shop front board, with common branding, is to be displayed at all CSCs across the country. The design has to incorporate the State CSC logo and name of the CSC Kendra, for example, Pragya Kendra in Jharkhand or Akshaya Kendra in Kerala. At the bottom of the board, the complete address of the CSC, including the Gram Panchayat/ District/ State has to be mentioned.

VLEs can download the open file of the creative from the CSC website and incorporate their State CSC Logo / name of the CSC Kendra in the State and complete address. Along with the common branding, all CSCs have to further display the rates charged for various services. A complete PPT on the guideline and printing instructions and the fonts to be used is available for download.

VLEs will receive monetary assistance of Rs. 3500 per CSC for branding costs on submission of a picture of their branded CSC along with the display of rate list and himself. He would further submit other details like name, OMT ID, contact number and his complete address.

CSC 2.0 has been formulated in pursuance of the Government’s commitment to set up CSCs in all 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats to provide various e-services to citizens in rural areas under the Digital India Programme. Under the Scheme, all CSCs are to have a common look and feel across the county, while also incorporating the local flavour using the State CSC logo and name of the respective CSC Kendra.




 


  IHHL project of Swachh Bharat Mission now live on CSC

The Individual Household Latrine (IHHL) project under Swachh Bharat Mission of the Ministry of Urban Development is once again live on CSC.

Applications under the project can be made uploaded through CSCs across States/UTs, along with all the required documents.

Payment for successful entries will be credited to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts at the end of the month.

All VLEs are further requested to upload the final toilet photographs after the construction work.
