 Around 19000 VLEs have registered for Aadhaar seeding facility through Apna CSC portal

Adhaar Seeding, an online system for Adhaar linking with bank accounts, is getting good response from the VLEs across India. Around 19,000 VLEs have showed their interest and got registered in the service in a month’s time. More than 11,000 Bank account holders have registered through CSCs. VLEs, who have availed this service, expressed their excitement over the new service.

Adhaar seeding service was launched on 24th June, 2016 on Apna CSC Portal. CSC Aadhaar seeding platform is a neutral platform and has the following features for Aadhaar seeding with Bank accounts:
 ·         These centers will be additional points for Aadhaar seeding 
·         All Common Services Centers (CSCs) are capable of handling Aadhaar Seeding as they are offering various services using EKYC
·         We have all the three options on our EKYC platform
IRIS / FINGER PRINT / OTP
·         Application has functionality of taking online consent from the customer for Aadhaar seeding




 


 More than 20,080 VLEs have registered on the new system after the launch of banking domain

CSC SPV as a Corporate Banking Correspondent has signed agreements with 42 Banks (Public Sector Banks, Regional Rural Bank and Private Sector Banks) for enabling CSCs to become Banking Correspondent Agents / Customer Service Points that deliver various banking and financial services in a number of States across the country.

All VLEs of the CSC network need to register on the Banking domain http://164.100.115.10/banking/registration/ for availing banking services. The registration will ensure that the latest information related to the VLEs, like his mobile number, e-mail ID, etc are updated on the domain.

Till May 2016, a total 20,080 VLEs have registered on the new domain.
