VLEs are requested to get themselves registered for mPOS

VLEs are requested to get themselves registered for mPOS machine so as to take advantage of low rent, the commission pattern for mPOS as well as Cash@POS remains the same.

SBI had recently introduced another model of CASH@POS machine called – mPOS, which turns any merchant's mobile device into a point-of-sale and complete any type of financial transaction like ATM cash withdrawal.

mPOS machine can prove to be a cost-effective medium, allowing a small scale business owner to conduct transactions without having to invest in an electronic register or pay someone to support the software. This machine has the ability to perform simple function of cash withdrawal from electronic point of sale terminal (POS terminal). The terms of the scheme would be same as that of Cash@POS.

This new machine is very affordable and expected to be in the budget of most of the VLEs as the rent of the machine is Rs 150/- per month plus service tax.
