Legal Literacy workshop held in Jaipur, Rajasthan



A workshop under the Legal Literacy Programme was conducted in Rajasthan on May 19, 2016 at Hotel Maharani Palace, Jaipur. The purpose of the session was to orient the VLEs on the objectives and the implementation of the scheme. A total of 122 VLEs attended the session; they were briefed on the process of beneficiary registration, base line survey, impact assessment, etc.
The workshop session was inaugurated by Chief Guest Mr. Ashok Sharma, Investigation Officer, Department of Law. Mr. Ashok and Ms. Geetanjali from UNDP addressed the VLEs and shared their knowledge and experiences. Legal Literacy handbooks were also distributed at the end of the session.
