With the initiative of CSC e-Governance Services India Limited (CSC SPV) under the Ministry of Electronic and Information Technology, Government of India, Jhattipur Village of Samalkha Block under Panipat District has attained the unique status to be the first Cashless Village in Haryana on 19th Dec.2016.

With the efforts of CSC VLE Vijaypal, Aadhaar enrolment had been completed in two days. Around 6,000 persons living in 1,037 houses agreed to adopt a cashless transaction system as many of them had been using ATMs and online transactions earlier. All 22 shops within village limits were linked to the e-wallet system. Now, the villagers of Jhatipur did not need cash to buy anything now.

Yadagirigutta also known as Yadadri, is a popular hindu temple situated in Yadagirigutta of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district of Telangana. The temple is an abode of Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

Yadagirigutta has the honour of becoming the first cashless temple town. CSC SPV with TITA- Telangana Information Technology Association student volunteers campaigned in a 8 hrs campaign on Go Digital.. Go Cashless. A total of 618 merchants in town were trained and created e-wallets under this campaign. The Local MLA Smt G Sunitha participated in 8 hrs program along with with CSC SPV and TITA Team.
