Important Information

Revision of UIDAI Penalty Structure

As per the new OM issued by UIDAI dated 20th June 2017 the following changes/addition have been made to the penalty structure:

  1. The penalty for overcharging or any malpractice being done at any enrolment center has been increased from Rs 10,000 to Rs 50,000 per case reported.
  2. Due to various cases of bypassing the operator biometric capture being reported, UIDAI has decided to impose a penalty of Rs 100,000 per enrolment station found to be bypassing the operator biometric.

The UIDAI Violation could also lead to imprisonment of upto 10 years with the above penal actions. VLEs are advised to follow the UIDAI guidelines strictly to avoid such penalties.

Mandatory shifting of all enrolment centers to Govt. premises
You must be already aware of the fact that UIDAI has issued an office memorandum according to which it is mandatory to shift your enrolment center to a govt. premise. We would like to remind you again that the last date to do this is 30th Sept 2017. Any enrolment center which is found operating outside the govt. premise after 30th Sept 2017 will be deemed as unauthorized center by UIDAI and could lead to legal and penal action against the center operator and the person running the center by UIDAI and the respective District Administration.

Please reach to your nearest CSC UID district coordinator and submit your govt. premise letter along with your consent form and supporting documents




Affidavit and Indemnity bond which need to signed by each VLE doing Aadhaar Enrolment/Update under CSC SPV. This Affidavit and Indemnity holds the VLE responsible for any penalty levied by UIDAI and provided VLEs assurance that the VLE will bear any penalty imposed by UIDAI.

The Affidavit need to be notarized and signed on Rs 10 stamp paper and Indemnity bond on Rs 100 stamp paper. The stamp duty will be paid by VLE and its mandatory for all VLEs to sign this in order to continue working under CSC.

Kindly get the copy of the bond and affidavit from your respective CSC UID coordinator.

  1. New portal for VLEs Payment Details
  2. CSC has launched its UID portal (cscuid.in) from where a VLEs can check their payment status. To log in into this portal a VLE has to use their CSC ID as Userid and Pan Card number as password.

  3. Digimail for all queries and Grievances
  4. For all the Aadhaar payment related query and Grievances do write us on mail Id cscuid@digimail.in. (Reply will be given to those VLEs whose queries will come from the digimail)

Reminder for OMT Re-registration on CSC new Portal
All the VLEs who have not yet re-registered his / her OMT ID are required to Re-register on CSC New portal for obtaining CSC ID. Do your Re-registration Imminently (http://register.csc.gov.in) else your Aadhaar kits will be deregistered and payment will be on hold.
