Problem Category-Land dispute

Problem Statement- The applicant wanted to dig handpump on her field for her water convenience. But one outside person was raising interference/objection and didn’t not allow her to dig on her land. As per applicant, he (other person) wanted to encroach her land. So, approached to get advice to solve her problem.

Medium of Awareness of Tele-Law Scheme – The applicant came to know about the scheme through an awareness programme conducted by VLE and PLV.

Advice by VLE –Register case under the scheme.

Advice given by the Panel Lawyer: After listening to the matter of the applicant, the Panel Lawyer advised her to inform and warn the other person that he creates objection than she will complain in the Police Station.
It was further advised that if he does not listen to her then she can and is free to complain in the Police Station. 

Problem Resolution On further follow up, the applicant informed that she warned the other person as advised by the Panel Lawyer. The latter in fear stopped to obstruct and she is successful to dig the government hundpump on her land.

Problem Category - Domestic Violence

Problem Statement – The applicant’s sister is married but not happy as her husband and in-laws do not treat her well. They physically and mentally harass and torture her. Seeing her situation he was depressed. So needed advice to solve her sister’s problem.

Medium of Awareness of Tele-Law SchemeCame to know through PLV.

Advice by VLE –It was advised to register case under Tele-Law service and seek consultation from the Panel Lawyer.

Advice given by the Panel lawyer – After listening to the applicant, CSC Panel lawyer advised  to immediately  go to the Police Station along with her sister and file a FIR under IPC 498A in Domestic Violence Act against her husband and  in-laws.

Problem  Resolution The applicant followed the advice given by the Panel Lawyer and the next day he took his sister to the nearest Police Station .And  filed a complaint against her husband and  in-laws under IPC 498A Domestic Violence ACT.

Immediately the Police Sub inspector registered the case and also sends the Victim for medical test with the Mahila Police Officer. Then the Police immediately arrested the culprits after the report came.

After that the applicant again consulted Panel lawyer and then he was further advised that he should file a maintenance case under DV Act in to the Court. Now, he is satisfied by getting the legal advice by the Panel Lawyer and will comply accordingly.
