  Tele-Law a boon during lockdown in Uttarakhand

Beneficiary Raju Dhali is a student and resident of Pipliya village of Udham Singh Nagar district of Uttarakhand.

His father is a labour and works in Odisha. But due to lock down his father got stuck in Odisha. As there was no work in the present situation he wanted to return back to home. He made many efforts there to come back but did not succeed. His family was also disturbed due to this.

Applicant Raju discussed his father’s problem to one of his villager who is PLV. PLV Preeti Mandal took him to VLE Satyam Nath Patra at CSC center. The latter advised him to register a case under tele law scheme for his problem and seek consultation from the Panel Lawyer.

With a ray of hope he registered his issue /case on Tele –Law portal. He was connected by Panel lawyer through phone call.

After listening to the problem, the Panel Lawyer advised him to meet SDM of his Block and also asked his father to meet SDM of the Block where he has been stuck and fill an application form for returning to his hometown.

After taking consultation from Panel lawyer, applicant filled an application form from both the Block and submitted to SDM. With the help of SDM of both the Blocks, Raju’s problem was solved and his father returned back safely.

Presently a total of 389052 cases are registered under Tele-Law project, out of which 367767 cases have received advice from the Panel Lawyers.

 Health Tele-consultation service at CSC Dhule running successfully

VLE Mr. Vinod Babulal Rathod had arranged a health tele-consultation camp in village, Dholipada, District Dhule (Maharashtra). The people from marginalized communities are taking consultations on Allopathic, Ayurvedic & Homeopathy. The VLE Vinod Rathod covered 600 telemedicine transactions successfully in his village. Citizens appreciated the service provided by him where there no doctors are available. Doctors are communicating with the citizens in their local language “Marathi” and it is really very helpful for villagers.
