 DigiPay Sakhi empowering Bansur block in Rajasthan

DigiPay Sakhis are empowering villagers in Bansur block of Rajasthan. This year, in the month of October, these women entrepreneurs have done 756 transactions of worth more than Rs 10 lakh.

The DigiPay system facilitates disbursement of government entitlements like payment under MGNREGA, social security pension, Handicapped, and Old Age Pension, etc of any Central or State Government bodies, using Aadhaar and authentication thereof as supported by UIDAI.

This system is based on demographic and biometric/iris information of an individual, which eliminates the threat of any fraud and non-genuine activity. Aadhaar will facilitate 'anytime, anywhere, anyhow' authentication to its beneficiary.
