  Connectivity of Police Stations with Fiber to the Home (FTTH)

An initiative is taken by the CSC team for connecting several police stations situated at various gram panchayats with FTTH Internet connective for seamless web services. Through the FTTH connections uninterrupted, high speed Internet service is provided on installation of over-head OFC and other infrastructure. FTTH connection in police stations will ultimately lead to smoother work process in the police station. Through collaborative effort of CSC Wifi Choupal team and states, FTTH connections were instituted in police station at different regions such as Pulbhatta gram panchayat of Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand; and Bajakhana gram panchayat of Faridkot district in Punjab.

Under the Wifi-Choupal scheme, optical fibres have been installed Shahabad block in Hardoi district of Uttar Pradesh. Now, villagers in Shahabad can now have access to the internet so that they could get information right on time and use it without any delay.

Last mile connectivity is still a challenge at rural and inaccessible areas of the country. An uninterrupted high speed and stable broadband connectivity plays the most significant role for enabling delivery of voluminous eServices in a timely manner through CSCs and thereby making them sustainable.

CSC e-Governance Services India Limited has taken active initiative in exploring various technology solutions focused around developing an affordable low-cost yet reliable ICT solutions for the rural landscape suitable for deploying at Indian Villages.

During the period from April, 2017 to November, 2019, a total of 33,555 GPs have been covered under BharatNet Infrastructure.

FTTH Survey data is to be filled for once while Daily GPON status must be submitted daily. So, kindly start using the App and submit the data with immediate effect.
