  Once a farmer, Sampatlal Transforms lives of people through digital technology

Sampatlal Verma after completing MA started working on farms of others as he didn’t get any job as per his qualification in village. He always wanted to do something for his family and society but was restricted due to financial condition.

One day he got to know about digital literacy program run at Common Service Centre at GP Nagjhiri, Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh, under PMGDISHA. He without any second thought got admission under the course and after becoming digitally literate started making people aware of digital transactions and using digital decides. He teaches children and elder men and women run mobile and laptop to.

For his commitment, now he has got employment opportunity at the same CSC centre and has got recognition is society. With desire to improve lives of villagers, now along with teaching people how to operate computer, he renders services like PAN Card, Life Certificate, Pension, digital literacy, electricity bills payment, income tax, passport etc.


  District society workshop in Ghazipur, Varanasi and Sant Ravidas Nagar (UP)

District society workshops were organized in Ghazipur, Varanasi and Sant Ravidas Nagar districts of Uttar Pradesh. The main objective of the workshop was to promote the society role in the distribution of products & Services in the District. 

In Ghazipur the workshop was organized on 12th Sep 2018, in Varanasi 10th September and in Sant Ravidas Nagar on 11th Sep 2018.
