  Divyang VLE Monisha Spreading Digital Empowerment in Thuraiyur, Tamil Nadu

VLE Monisha runs her CSC at Village Siruganatham, Tiruchirappalli (Panchayat: Perumalpalayam, Tehsil: Thuraiyur, Tamil Nadu). She is a B.com.Graduate. She is handicapped but it didn’t stop her in achieving her goal. Monisha herself committed with social responsibilities. So she decided to join hands with CSC. When she understood that digitalization is the future, she wants to do something to her people who were digitally illiterate. She took PMGDISHA as a tool for her innovation. She educate her village people about the benefits of Digitalization, started conducting classes for Basic Computer, Email, Cashless Transaction, Digilocker, Social media and how to access it securely. Monisha have enrolled 250 Candidates and 229 candidates are certified in her village. Out of 250 enrollments 207 candidates are female. Out of 229 certified candidates 196 are female. Most of the people in her village are now digitally literate. She still is continuing the service in her village.

VLE Subhashini Sendrayaperumal runs her CSC centre at Vadaputhupatti,Theni, Tamil Nadu. She has opened two new Jan Aushadhi stores through CSC. Many people have been benefitted through regular medicines at low cost”


 


 Success story of VLE Revanasiddappa Pasodi from Karnataka

VLE Name: Revanasiddappa Pasodi
CSC Location: Vijayapur, Tamba, Karnataka
Revanasiddappa Pasodi started his journey as a VLE in 2016 from Vijayapur, Tamba, Karnataka. Since then he has not looked back and excelled far beyond expectations. People admit that due to the CSC in the village, they save time and money. They earlier had to visit the Tehsil office in Vijayapur multiple times. Currently he is rendering CSC services very efficiently.

His focus for digital literacy got him credibility and respect. PMGDISHA platform has helped VLE Revanasiddappa to realize his dream of service backed by monetary rewards as well, he registered as a VLE, and decided to venture into PMGDISHA and started a center in rural location and started to accumulated people in the rural areas in temples and mandi’s and shabha bhavans, educated them about cashless transactions and also importance of digital literacy to one person for every house, and motivating them to encourage their children to know about computer and digital devices, this effort resulted in his being the recognized VLE in Vijayapur District Indi taluk, who completed 100 registration.

CSC provided him business opportunity as well as recognition in the society. He has been an example for other young generation and people in Vijayapur. The VLE is receiving a return of Rs. 20,000 per month
