  VLE Moushmi Tamrkar keeping the flame of Digital India in Durg, Chhattisgarh

Moushmi Tamrkar hails from Karmchari Nagar, Durg. She studied till 12th standard and has a Diploma in computer science but belongs to a village where people have very little knowledge about computer education or information technology. She always had the urge to better the lives of villagers and common citizens and CSC gave her the opportunity. She started her CSC centre in 2015 and offered various services to the citizens, slowly it became a popular destination for citizens in her village to avail different services.

Moushmi is a Master VLE and providing all the services of CSC. She trained 500 persons in NDLM including 50 ration card dealers. Her focus is marginalized communities including tribals in Durg. She has done 4500 Aadhaar enrolments including 2500 children. She also runs kiosk banking of Bank of Baroda.

She quite proudly states that citizens earlier had to travel a lot for applying for certificates or to remit bill payments, but lately all these services were available under the same roof at her CSC.





 


  Success story of VLE Nilofar Khan, Rajasthan


CSC Location-Vigyan Nagar, Kota, Rajasthan

Engineering Graduate Nilofar Khan has completed Graduation in engineering from Rajasthan. She has been working with CSC from December 2015. Nilofar says, “Running the CSC center made me very strong- morally, socially and financially.”

Nilofar started her center with very small setup, however after recognizing the opportunity to grow socially and financially with CSC platform, she focused on providing maximum number of services through her CSC center. Maria says, “Now the situation is that I am earning more than I expected to earn and have a big workplace having more than 15 service delivery counters in it.” She started her CSC in 100 sqft and it is in 1,000 sq ft. Nilofar taught Digital literacy to 1500 persons, especially among minority and tribal communities. During DigiDhan, she trained 3000 villagers and 150 merchants.

She has spread investor Awareness program among 350 villagers. She says that each and every government services should be added to the CSC platform and we will get opportunity to deliver those services through our CSC outlets.



 


  VLE name- Gajendra Singh Paurush


CSC Location- Jogiya, Hathras, UP

  VLE name-Gurdeep Singh


CSC Location-Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh

VLE Gurdeep Singh is a Science graduate. He has been working with CSC from December 2014. Gurdeep says, “Running the CSC center has provided me fulfillment and made me very strong- morally, socially and financially.”

Gurdeep has provided NDLM training for 1500 beneficiaries from the marginalized communities in Shahjahanpur. Most of them have never seen computers in their life and before training computer was an alien for these people. Now, after training most of these people are enjoying better life with their livelihood. He started Aadhaar campaign for all the senior citizens in Shahjahanpur and nearby areas in Uttar Pradesh. Aadhaar gave the sense of identity to these citizens. He did Aadhaar enrolments of children from 227 primary schools in Shahjahanpur and nearby areas. Gurdeep also did Aadhaar enrolment of 0-5 years children in 180 Anganwadi centres. Till date, he has done 42000 Aadhaar enrolments. During DigiDhan Abhiyan, he played very active role in training merchants and citizens.

Gurdeep says, “Now the situation is that I am earning more than I expected to earn and have a big workplace having more than 15 service delivery counters in it.” Gurdeep Singh has given employment to more than 20 people at her CSC centre.

VLE Gurdeep Singh says that each and every government services should be added to the CSC platform and we will get opportunity to deliver those services through our CSC outlets.
