 Awareness on cashless transactions among women at Tirunelveli, TamilNadu

VLE Dhanalakshmi from TamilNadu trained women from Self-Help Groups on digital cashless transactions through BHIM, eWallet and UPI. VLE Dhanalakshmi runs her CSC in Tisaiyanvilai, Radhapuram taluka, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu.

She was introduced to CSC and the various services offered by it by a CSC representative in Tamil Nadu. Most of the peoples in this village are Beedi makers and daily laborers. As there is no frequent transport facility in this village and ATM and Bank were far away villagers gladly accepted and welcomed this transition. She proudly states “My aim is to enrich the uneducated people with knowledge to access the Globe easily using Digital service with the help of CSC.”


 CSCs across the country organized 15 days campaign on "Make India Green"

To spread awareness about importance of tree plantation for environment conservation among masses, 3 lakh Common Services Centers across the country organized 15-day campaign on "Make India Green" from 10th Sep to 24th Sep, 2018 and actively participated in “Tree Plantation Drive”. Each VLE planted 100 trees during 15 days’ campaign.


 District VLE Society workshop conducted in Ambedkar Nagar

Ambedkar Nagar District VLE Society workshop was conducted on 19th September, 2018. The main objective of workshop was to promote VLE society’s role in the distribution of products & services in the District. CSC officials briefed on various services being delivered through Digital Seva portal. Mr. Nishant Shrama from iBall given detailed presentation on iBall products and other related matters. Total 102 VLEs participated in workshop.
