  CSC transforms lives of villagers in Wanadongri, Hingna

VLE Sarika Vitthal Nagrale started her CSC at Wanadongri in Nagpur, Maharashtra in March 2017 with delivery of services like PAN, Navodaya online admission, Sarkari Pariksha, Homeo 999, IRCTC, TALLY, CSC Insurance Khata , Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, etc.

Since then, the growth of her CSC has been pronominal. She carried out PMGDISHA programme in her Gram Panchayat in an excellent manner. She has registered 400 students under PMGDISHA. The VLE has registered 600 women for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) programme under Skill initiative of CSC.

She is also contributing in Aaple Sarkarseva Kendra services launched by Maharashtra Government, for example Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Shetkari Samman Yojana, Domicile certificate, Income Certificate, Electricity Bill, Phone recharge, etc. She has filled 94 Shetkari forms. She says: “My family not only motivated me to take up the CSC, but also provided support to carry out CSC operations. For me, journey from being just a housewife to a VLE has been both satisfying and gratifying.” By successfully managing and running CSC, she not only was able to get respectable name for herself but also has become a role model for other women in her Gram Panchayat. CSC has transformed lives of residents of Wanadongri, Hingna locality by ensuring availability of services within their close reach.


  Woman VLE Avinita empowers citizens in Nashik through CSC platform

Avinita hails from a small family of 4 members from Nasik in Maharashtra. She did Bachelors in Computer Science. Avinita and her husband were in business of Computer education from the last 8-9 years. Then they joined the CSC network two years back and started working on various projects and offering various services through CSC.

Avnita and her husband were looking for an opportunity in the IT Sector and came to know about Common Services Centers. CSC gave them the opportunity to serve citizens through various services and strengthen their foothold in digital literacy. She says “Through CSC we offer citizens various kinds of services along with literacy programmes like PMGDISHA, thus empowering them.”

CSC also gave her the opportunity to put her efforts into social causes like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and other campaigns. Avinita says: “Not only mine, but CSC has transformed lives of everyone in my GP Nasik for betterment. I am privileged to be associated with CSC.”
