 10,000 newborn babies enrolled under Shishu Aadhaar project in Andhra Pradesh

Under Shishu Aadhaar project in Andhra Pradesh, 10,000 newborn babies have been enrolled by CSC VLEs from August 15, 2018. To provide the unique identity for the new born babies as a key objective, Directorate of Public Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh (PH & FW) decided to do Child Aadhaar project named “Shishu Aadhaar Project” by providing Aadhaar Registration to new born babies at each and every registered hospitals across the Andhra Pradesh state. CSC e‐ Governance Service India Ltd. (CSC – SPV) is implementing this prestigious project across Andhra Pradesh with its wide range of VLE Network.




 


 Digital Empowerment of Wanadongri village in Nagpur through CSC

Woman VLE Sanjivani Prashant Ninawe runs her CSC centre at Wanadongri, Raipur Hingna. With her proactive effprts in enabling delivery of services through CSC, she acquired recognition for her CSC centre not only from her own village but also nearby villages. People visit her CSC from far flung areas to avail various services.



Her CSC Center in Wanadongri under the ambitious Prime Minister Gramin Digital Saksharata Abhiyan (PMGDISHA) recently conducted a 10-days’ digital Literacy mission for the residents of Raipur village in Hingana tehsil of Nagpur district.


The programme was well attended by women who were introduced to the basics of computer learning. In the training session, the participants were taught how to start and shut-down computer, how to use internet, DIGITAL LOCKER, use of various social media applications such as Facebook, Whatsapp, Skype etc., how to use GMAIL etc.

A training programme under Digital Literacy Mission was also arranged at Nagzari in Hingana Tehsil in which residents participated enthusiastically. They were introduced to BHIM APP (BHARAT INTERFACE FOR MONEY) to educate and sensitize them to use cashless transaction.
