 Menstrual hygiene awareness program in Telangana

Menstrual hygiene awareness program organised by VLE Parameswari at Gurramguda GP for SHG women Telangana. The VLE sold 50 napkin packets to women SHGs.


 Woman VLE provides old age pension to 85-year old in Himachal Pradesh

VLE Khemlata from Talwara panchayat in Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh provides old age pension to 85-year old Geeta Devi at her home.


 Blood Collection and Sanitary Napkin Distribution camp organized at Kolhapur, Maharashtra

Free sanitary napkin distribution program organised at Nutan Marathi Vidyalaya, Kolhapur by VLE Mrs. Amruta Rajguru Barade. The VLE runs “Stree Swabhiman” unit at Kolhapur, Maharashtra. These sanitary napkins have been donated by Urja Foundation. Urja Foundation has adopted 100 girls for one year.

Blood Test Camp was also arranged. School Principal Mr. S.T. Gaikwad, Asst. Teacher Mrs. Chitnis Madam, President of Urja Foundation Mrs. Ujjwala Jadhav, DM Mr. Pavan Patil, Mr. Jeevan Shinde DC, school girls and local VLEs were present.



A district level workshop was organized for the VLEs in Gondia, Maharashtra. Approx. 130 VLEs participated and were briefed about Wi-Fi Choupal services, Ayushman Bharat and various other services of CSC.

VLEs had one to one interaction with the state team and all their queries and doubts were taken up so that they can have a fair view regarding the services.

They were also made aware about Wi-Fi packages and the benefits of using internet for various purposes.

The aim is to spread Digital empowerment across gram panchayats so that villagers have access to government services easily.
