 Hon’ Minister announces that Aadhaar work will be undertaken through CSCs very soon

Shri Ravi Shankar Prasad, Hon’ble Minister of Electronics & IT and Law & Justice, in the workshop of Top Transacting VLEs of CSC mentioned that the Common Service Centre have played a significant role in Digital India initiatives of the Government. The Hon’ Minister was addressing around 700 Village Level Entrepreneurs of CSC from across the country, at the CSC National Conference of Top Transacting VLEs, at India Habitat Centre.

The Hon’ Minister while inaugurating the event, appreciated the efforts of the Common Services Centres (CSCs) in providing key services like PMGDISHA, Stree Swabhiman, banking, insurance to the grassroots citizens. Hon’ Minister also announced that Aadhaar work will be undertaken through CSCs very soon mainly as it benefits the citizens especially those in rural India.

During the program, MoU signed with Medanta Hospital for the Tele-Consultancy service in Rural India.

 Women VLEs are pillars of Digital Empowerment in Rural India-Hon’ PM

Hon’ Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi mentioned that women VLEs are pillars of Digital Empowerment in rural India. Hon’ Prime Minister was addressing the citizens in Madhya Pradesh. He said, “The Digital India programme through CSC seeks to propel India into a new age of digital connectivity and empowerment, weaving together all sections and regions of the country. The role of 3 lakh CSCs, working across India is very important in enabling the mandate of Digital India for delivering government services to citizens at their door steps.”

MoU signed with Himachal Pradesh High Court for their Online Recruitment. Now, all applications of HP High Court will be filled through CSCs as well.
