 “3 Lakh CSCs have brought Digital connectivity across rural India”-Hon’ Prime Minister

Hon' Prime Minister has said that 3 Lakh CSCs have brought Digital connectivity across rural India. During his visit to Singapore, Hon’ Prime Minister appreciated role of CSCs and said that Over 300,000 Common Service Centres have brought digital access to villages. They give our farmers better access to land records, credit, insurance, market and the best price. They deliver health services and hygiene products to women.

He said that financial inclusion has become a reality for 1.3 billion Indians. PM Modi, who delivered the keynote address at the Singapore Fintech Summit, also talked about the growing need for a digital economy in India. In his keynote address, Modi said the technology has transformed governance and delivery of public services in India and unleashed innovation, hope and opportunities.






 


 PMFBY : CSC Portal open for Rabi 2018-19

Dear All,

Enrolment of Non Loanee farmers for PMFBY Rabi 2018-19 has been started on Digital Seva Portal – Government – Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana for Tamilnadu, Odisha & Maharashtra.

Remaining states will start appearing in PMFBY portal as soon as State Agriculture Dept. digitize crops on PMFBY Portal.

Pls Note : We have received many complaints from Insurance Companies regarding uploading of wrong documents, bank statements & low quality of scanning in last PMFBY season of Kharif 2018, even wrong/another farmers documents were uploaded by some VLEs.

These proposals may be subject to Rejection by insurance companies & premium will be refunded to the Farmer’s bank account.

In this Season please enrol Non Loanee Farmers with considering below points :

Do’s
1.      Upload CORRECT docs only.
2.      Scanned documents should be CLEAR.
3.      Scanned documents should be READABLE.
4.      Do ONLY ONE transaction of every farmer for their multiple crops, Use Add Crops option.

Don’ts
1.     Don’t charge any extra amount from the Farmer except premium mentioned on Acknowledgement Receipt.
2.    Low quality scan docs may subject to rejection by Insurance Companies & VLEs should be held liable for these Rejections.
3.      Don’t create Fresh entry of different Crops of single Farmer. Use Add Crops option in single application.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  In case if any VLE found doing above mentioned Don’ts, CSC will disable PMFBY Service of those VLEs instantly. This is a strict instruction from CEO Desk.




 


  Opportunity for Village Level Entrepreneurs to register as Udyam Jyoti

CSC e-Governance Service India Limited & office of DC, MSME has signed an MoU for the following:

  1. Providing Enterprise Facilitation Services to UDYAM and potential enterprises
  2. Database generation of UDYAM.

VLEs interested for becoming a potential UDYAM as Udyam Jyoti may themselves get enrolled via the Digital Sewa Portal, Type MSME and register for the service by just paying Rs. 4 (refunded back).
