Success Story of VLE Ashis Nath from North Tripura

VLE Ashis Nath is one of those who sacrifice everything of his life for his mission. When he heard about CSC wherein one can serve the people by providing them many G2C and B2C services, he was very inclined to becoming a VLE. He joined CSC in 2010 and built his centre in Baruakandi Gram Panchayat (Current Location Algapur Gram Panchayat) under Kalacherra R.D.Block, Dharmanagar, North Tripura.

In the beginning he started his centre using service of Aadhaar Card Download, Aadhaar card printing , mobile recharge etc. As time passed, he got engaged into the different services of CSC like becoming a Banking Correspondent in the year 2012 with a bank, Insurance services and many other services like Aadhaar Child enrollment, passport service, PAN, NDLM and etc.

Initially he was alone at the centre working hard but today he has two operators working at his centre. He quite proudly says that he started his centre in 2010 and he tried almost all the services from the CSC platform. He goes on to say that CSC is not only a one stop shop for all the service need of a citizen but also it is enablers of community participation and collective action for engendering social change in rural India.
