  Woman VLE from Chhattisgarh becomes self-sufficient through CSC

The VLE Ranjeeta Sahu established her CSC centre two years back in 2016 at Pathriya block in Mungeli district. With her hard work and passion for social services, she garnered very good credibility in her Gram Panchayat Sargaon, Chhattisgarh. She is providing the services like Banking, DigiPay, Insurance Product Sales and Premium collection, Labor Registration, Driving License, Electricity Bill Collection, Mobile and DTH Recharge, PAN Card, etc.

Top transacting service in her CSC is Electricity Bill Collection. She has employed one person at her centre. She earns around Rs 12,000/- per month from her CSC business. During the Financial Year 2017-18, she did Portal transactions worth Rs 26.32 lakh. She feels that CSC has brought her social recognition and developed her personality.


 VLE Romita serving citizens at a remote hilly village in Himachal Pradesh

Village Level Entrepreneur Smt Romita Sharma did not belong to business background. Despite of the fact, 12th pass Romita decided to start her own business by starting a CSC centre at Kuthera Gram Panchayat in Himachal Pradesh’s Bilaspur district. Being a mother of three kids, Romita took the opportunity as a challenge and became a known face among villagers. Started with providing online electricity Bill payment and mobile recharge, now she provides all the services at her centre. The VLE is providing services at doorsteps of villagers at in the locality.


  Success story of VLE Shankar Lal Agarwal from Kokrajhar, Assam

The VLE Shankar Lal Agarwal set up his Common Services Centre at Pochagarh Gram Panchayat in Kokrajhar District (Assam) in 2009 and since then he has been successfully running it. He is providing important CSC Services like insurance Product Sales, PAN Card, Insurance Renewal, IRCTC Berth reservations, Air Ticketing, DTH Recharge, E-District Services, and other services being offered on CSC National Portal and online exam results. During the Financial Year 2017-18, he performed transactions worth Rs 22.30 lakh.
