 VLE Ram Ujagir registers cancer stricken patient for Ayushman Bharat in Singrauli

In Dighwar panchayat of Chitrangi block, Singrauli district, VLE Ram Ujagir Vaish registered cancer stricken Ramavtar Kewat for Ayushman Bharat. Ramavtar Kewat, who has the responsibility of his family on his shoulders, was facing financial burden due to medical expenses. Having already spent Rs. 100,000 on treatment till date, the situation at home was very fragile. In these circumstances, Ayushman Bharat scheme has proved to be a boon for him. Knowing about his situation, VLE Ram Ujagir Vaishya registered him free of cost at his home.


 Ayushman Bharat brings a new dawn in the life of Ujagar Singh and his family

Hailing from Kheda block, Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh, Ujagar Singh and his wife belong to the marginalized community. With no money for medical expenses, Singh was discharged from the hospital without completing the treatment. When the Gram Pradhan informed VLE Brajesh Kumar Bhaval about the case, he went to the house of this elderly couple and got him registered under Ayushman Bharat. Now Ujagar Singh will be able to avail treatment through Ayushman Bharat.
