As an initiative to empower and strengthen CSC Academy centers as an education and skill hub, CSC with Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC) started a new course the “Train The Trainer Program”.
This is a must for every CSC Academy to have atleast one trained and certified trainer for different training activities. The training fee shall be reimbursed for 1 trained resource / CSC Academy Centre.
CSC Academy has partnered with Telecom Sector Skill Council (TSSC) to skill 'One Lakh' rural youth to supplement skilled manpower for the maintenance of Bharat Net.
TSSC has designed and developed a Digital Content on Optical Fiber Splicing (OFS) – Qualification pack, especially for VLEs and their operators who are working for the maintenance and upkeeping of Bharat Net infrastructure across the country. TSSC certified trainers from the relevant industry will also impart training on the aspects like wi-fi access points, optical fibre splicing, and maintenance through online mode across the country. All beneficiaries shall be facilitated with Digital training content (provided by TSSC) in a self-paced mode along with LIVE classes. Following the training, skill competency certificates would be awarded by TSSC after completion of online assessment using mobile/laptop.

OFS Training Program:
- Digital Content mapped to the TSSC OFS QP –duration 6 hours
- Self-Study – at least 3 hours per day for 8 days – 24 hours
- 4 Virtual Classroom sessions of 1 hour each
- Practice Assessments after every module and two complete Practice Assessment at the end of the Training Program
Assessment:
- On completion of the OFS Training Program, a Third Party Assessment would be conducted by an Assessment Body designated by TSSC
Certification:
- All successful participants will be certified by TSSC

- Facilitate Job Seekers by registering them and posting their bio-data on Gramin Naukri Portal. VLEs will also support job seekers for matching relevant jobs and facilitate online interviews at CSCs.
- Facilitate Industries/MSMEs in getting skilled manpower through Gramin Naukri Portal.

CSC SPV Started a new Course in Self Paid Course, “Soft Skills & Personality Development Online Course. Soft Skills & Personality Development programs prepare participants to get, keep and excel at a new job. Basic employability skills include effective communication, problem-solving, resume building, and interviewing. The training programs also help participants develop good work habits that facilitate their ongoing success. The Course improves one’s personality as well.
Soft skills or interpersonal skills are important aspects of one's personality. Soft skills need to be constantly developed and altered in keeping with the current scenario. As soft skills are not a part of traditional learning, it might be a gradual process to develop them, but it is one of the core elements of an individual’s overall personality and helps the person in their career development.
CSC Academy launched Cyber Security and CAD & 3D Printing Courses in Collaboration with Ecole Superieure Robert de Sorbon University, France. To promote skill development at doorsteps in rural India through CSC Academies, will work with Ecole Superieure Robert de Sorbon. This French Institute will support CSC to enable courses at CSC Academies across India.
