Launch of IIT Bombay and CSC Academy collaboration

CSC Academy collaborates with IIT Bombay for various IT courses through its Spoken Tutorials. These courses will help rural youth to improve their skills and also enhance their employment opportunities.

Various courses for programming, operating systems, graphics, animation, basic coding, java, python, and many more are available under this initiative.

Candidates can get enrolled in these courses through their nearest CSC Academy, there will be trained recourses at each CSC Academy to support the students. After completion of the course remotely proctored exam will be conducted at the same CSC Academy.

During the launch of the program Prof. Subhasis Chaudhuri, Director, IIT Bombay said, “With this ICT program we can bridge the digital divide between rural and urban areas. The language will not be a barrier for learning as this training program is available in 22 official languages of India. With proficiency certificate, youth from rural areas will come up very strongly in the job market and India will become Atma Nirbhar.”

Announcing the partnership, CEO, CSC SPV, Dr. Dinesh Tyagisaid, “It has been our endeavor to provide quality education to students and youth in rural areas to bridge the digital divide. Our association with IIT Bombay is a significant step in that direction. The availability of courses in 22 languages will increase its uptake among the youth in rural areas, contributing to an AtmaNirbhar Bharat. This will also support in skilling the youth to meet the emerging technological challenges.”
