CSC has organized many informative webinars in this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to provide knowledge of new technologies for those working from home with valuable educational resources and to maintain steady communication with CSC VLEs.

To this, a webinar on “GIS Technology-Potential and Opportunities” was organized by CSC SPV on June 29, 2020. Mr. Vijay Kumar, Senior Vice President and CTO (India), ESRI was the key-speaker for the webinar. Mr. Vijay explained the overview of GIS, Application Areas of GIS, Uses of GIS in Rural areas, and about Employment opportunities for GIS Skills.

CSC VLEs attended the webinar and took advantage of this opportunity.
