Five new insurance products launched through CSCs
All VLEs of CSC Scheme must register for Rural Authorised Persons in order to deliver insurance services. Insurance Regulatory Development Authority (IRDA) has given requisite approvals for the same.

More than 4,310 centers with 6,422 machines are now working at CSCs as Permanent Enrolment Centers. PECs at CSCs are operative in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Punjab, Jharkhand, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Himachal, Haryana, Tripura, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, and Pondicherry.

Travel services launched through CSCs today
CSC SPV has launched travel services through the CSC Portal (apna.csc.gov.in) today. VLEs can start delivering the service which includes booking of air, train and bus tickets as well as hotel bookings through CSC.
